She is alive :)

Life said No, but I wanted a Yes.

They gave me jitters, and I gave them the best.

They tried to push me, but I pulled myself back.

They hid me in, but I found my way,

Struggling, juggling, I have always moved on,

Driving my way through the dark tunnels to a brighter road.

I wasn’t ready to jump off,

But she said I can.

I had the fear of falling,

But she said I’ll fly.

I looked within and saw her.

And then we both smiled.

There is a life that’s beautiful,

I had stopped living that.

Now when I have pulled out, I’ll live it to the best.

I was lost, but she helped me come back.

She, my soul feels alive again.

I have jumped off, and now it’s time to fly.

It’s time to breath, It’s time to dance.

It’s time to feel each drop of rain, and leave behind every little pain.

MUSIC it is!

Something was flowing and it was growing.

It covered a distance and came closer.

A sound it was, soft and calm.

Carrying symphony and charm.

I heard it first and then I felt it.

It gave me a smile and my soul danced upon it.

Something very beautiful it is.

Everytime it comforts me.

The mind, the heart, the soul now need it, to breathe.

And as they call it, MUSIC, it is!

Random Again

I don't know how much it is,

Yet i know its love for sure.

I don't have control on it,

Yet they say, I should feel no more.

No wonder, you've never held me close,

Yet each day I love you more.

You've moved far away, far too long,

Yet my thoughts for you remain as strong.

Today they tell me, that you cash upon my Love,

Yet I'm always there for you, coz my belief in you is strong.

Everytime I talk to you, its special, i Smile,

Yet there is a pain, but you'll never know that something is wrong.

The Perfect Good Bye to Life

Precilia, a lively girl. She has a wonderful family with loving and caring parents and a cheerful sister. She loves people around her. She loves to laugh around. She loves to dance around. She loves to live. It’s her first year in college. Her first ‘Freshers’. She is excited. She has made a few friends, the closest being Happy and Shanaya. She even has her childhood friend Shramya in the same college. Okay, so it’s the official freshers’ party of college. The stage is set. As each of her college mate comes and performs on stage, she enjoys and claps for them. It’s now time for the band performance. Precilia has heard for the first time about the band. She is excited to watch them perform. As they take the stage, she looks at them. Her eyes suddenly freeze at the guitarist of the band. She does not believe in lovey dovey things, but she is suddenly feeling something similar. The band starts with a song and Precilia is still lost in the guitarist. She feels each word of the song and goes deep in it. The performance comes to an end. She wants to watch more of it though. But without further thoughts, she decide to find out more about the guitarist. One thing’s for sure. She is smitten. If not in love, she certainly has felt something special. She has never felt this way before.

She goes to him directly. “Hi, You guys were simply awesome, I’m Precilia,” is all she could say. “Thanks, I’m Sam”. She couldn’t say anything the moment he spoke. “Precilia”, shouts Shanaya from behind. And that’s all for the day. Post this, she keeps thinking of Sam whole day. She wants to see him everyday in college. She wants to talk to him. In all this while, she makes two special friends, Katyand Ken. She shares a special bond with both these girls. She tells her close friends about her feelings. Since katy is close to Sam, she warns Precilia, of not falling too deep. But it’s too late probably. Precilia is now totally and truly in love with Sam. She wants to be with him. She wants to listen to every song he sings. She decides to let Sam know what she feels for him. She is scared of talking to him. So she decides to text him. She writes a long SMS expressing the special feeling that she has for Sam. But to her disappointment, Sam is not ready. He says No in a soft way though, being careful of not hurting her. But the No is heartbreaking for Precilia. She is completely shattered. She spends quite some days thinking about Sam and then decides to move on.

But to her irony, she just could not. When she dreams, its about Sam. When she thinks, its about Sam. Almost two years have passed now, but Sam hasn’t left her heart and mind. She very well knows, Sam has moved on. He loves a girl named Sherin. But she chooses to ignore that. She is in office, busy with her work, when all of a sudden everything in front of her goes blur. She is breathless and before she could realize whats happening, she faints. Her friends Ken and Adam (Ken’s boyfriend) rush her to the hospital. After all her check ups, all the doctor could say is, “She hardly has a month. It’s Cancer, last stage.” When precilia opens her eyes, she sees her parents, her sister and her friends Ken and Adam around. They all have tears in their eyes. Precilia curiously asks them, “What happened?” She shivers and asks again, “What’s wrong? Please tell me.” At last Ken speaks, “it’s Cancer and not even a month,” and she breaks down.

Precilia is speechless. She does not know how to react. She hugs everyone present there. In some days, she meets all her loved ones. But that special loved one, she realizes is still not around. “Katy, I need to see him once, hug him once. Please.”

The next day, she wakes up, she sees Sam standing right in front of her with a drop of tear in his eye. She is delighted to see him. Ignoring her weak health she jumps out of her bed and hugs him. She cries for long and so does Sam. “I love you Sam”, she says. “I love you too”, the last words she hears. It’s silence around. Everything has gone still. Precilia lived her best moment while ending her life in Sam’s arms and all her loved ones around. She lived her music, her dance, her joy, her peace – all in that one moment. She is happy in heaven as she got her life when she was dying. That one moment of life was her most wonderful moment.

No Glory! Its the blame game again!

Dhoni & Co are back after a shameful performance in T20 World Cup 2010. The whole nation and cricket fraternity is up in arms and each has his own opinion to give. Blame it on Dhoni, for taking all the wrong decisions. blame it on some players, for not being able to deliver their best. Blame it on the selectors, for not being able to select the perfect 13. And our dear captain Mahi, who was completely not in favor of blaming the IPL has finally blamed it on IPL.

Many allegations, many blames, but the fact remains, our team failed to perform. When our captain was required to give tips to players, we had Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina giving those tips. When our captain should have been sitting and thinking what should be one, he was busy enjoying the beaches of West Indies, and again it was Gautam Gambhir who was sitting and thinking. From all this, I'm not really blaming this ONE person, but then the biggest responsibility is directly/indirectly pointing him, as M S Dhoni is the CAPTAIN of Team India.

We lost to Australia, then to West Indies, and in the game against Sri Lanka , when we could not restrict them to 143, the game was still ours. It couldn't have been given away so easily with sloppy fielding and 'we've lost it' attitude. The world knows, Team India could have won atleast that ONE game. But they did not. They're back and our dear Mr.Captain is all ready with his reasons and excuses. (Maybe he did a lot of thinking on these excuses than on cricket :P)

See, I have my own blames to put. Who do you think is to be blamed?

Its time for the BIG one!

Ipl with all its unexpected twists and turns has come to an end with Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings becoming the champions, after defeating Sachin's strong team Mumbai Indians. A highly controversial season, IPL 3 had all action on and off the field. On one hand, we had the cricketers playing the right games on the field, and on the other hand, IPL chairman Lalit Modi has been in action off the field too. From the Kochi franchise case to charges of Match Fixing against him and then his suspension on the final day of IPL has not ended and Modi still hasn't had his final match. His innings seems to be a long one and he has to face all balls with the googly, yorker or a full toss.

As BCCI and Modi figure out the basics of their match, its time for our Indian team now to give their hundred percent. On April 30th, starts the big tournament, the T20 World Cup. Again led by Dhoni, the Indian supporters are hoping the captain to give the same result as he did to his team in IPL. Though Dhoni and company are still muddling around fitness issues and less rest time, the current form of certain Indian players in the IPL is giving him the confidence that his team will do it.

With so much action happening in the cricket fraternity, the cricket fans have no time to blink their eyes. They are glued to their TV sets observing all action ball by ball and hoping for their team's ballistic performance in T20 World Cup 2010.

Here is wishing Dhoni and his men Good Luck for the BIG one! Go get it Guys!

The winning streak is back with the captain for DD!

Delhi supporters have all the reasons to smile as Delhi has won three games consecutively, after Gauti's return and have made quite a comfortable position in the points tally. They currently stand at No.3, with 10 points and if the winning streak continues for another couple of games, they'll be through to the semis.

If we notice, this winning spree started as soon as Gautam Gambhir got back from Sri Lanka. Though in the first win, he wasn't playing, but was back and watching the match closely. So, is Gauti a lucky charm for DD, or is he such a great captain that the team misses him so badly in his absence that they lose matches. Well, whatever the reason be, the regular skipper is back and in the last game against Rajasthan Royals, he played quite a sensible innings with Dinesh Karthik batting in a ballistic manner at the other end.

Considering, that the wins started when Gauti got back, it won't be wrong to say that the captain got the winning streak back for his team and now, Delhi supporters ask for more wins and see their team on top. Delhi has been twice unlucky after reaching the semis and this year, they would like to not just make it to the finals but also be the champions of IPL3. But this IPL has become completely unpredictable, with each team giving the other one a tough competition at every level. Each match is changing the team positions in the tally table. Thus, each team still has a lot to do, including Delhi Daredevils!

Gambhir's absence is not good!

Delhi Daredevils: An attacking batting line-up, some really good names in the squad and experts say that this team has what it takes to win IPL. When we saw the first two matches played by the team, it seemed they certainly can climb up the points table. But, the team faced a halt and is down to Number 6 in the points tally. They have lost 3 matches in a row and are facing the jitters. What could be the reasons for these losses? When cricket fans spoke, they blamed the decisions taken after the toss, they blamed Dinesh Karthik's captaincy and even the absence of key players.

This IPL has been an "Injuries' Premier League" by far and has left some of the biggies out of the game. But the worst hit by these injuries has been Delhi Daredevils. As Ashish Nehra and Gautam Gambhir (captain) are off to Sri Lanka for their treatment, the team meanwhile has not managed to win a game. When asked, stand by captain, Dinesh Karthik said that he is missing Gautam Gambhir more than anybody else. (Acc. to iplt20.com) This one statement makes it clear that Gautam Gambhir is as important as a foundation stone. His being back in the team would help the team regain its confidence and probably its winning streak too. Me being a delhi daredevils fan, is eagerly waiting for Gauti to get back and get DDs back on track. I feel, though Gauti's absence is not the only reason for Delhi's 3 losses in a row, but it certainly is a MAJOR reason.

The 'Mongoose' Bat!

A long handle, a three times thicker base, an amazing blade and that makes a nightmare for bowlers in IPL Season 3. Yes, its the Mongoose bat. It had Mathew Hayden of Chennai super Kings reaching his 90s in the last match between Delhi Daredevils and CSKs. This bat does wonders. Hayden says it has a faster bat speed besides power designed specifically for Twenty20 cricket. Even Andrew Symonds and Smith from Deccan chargers are playing with this 'small wonder' in this edition of the IPL. This 'ball crusher' becomes another highlight of IPL 2010 and has all eyes on it.

Is this bat really going to prove a nightmare for the other teams deprived of it? Well, we'll get to know as each game comes. Till then, if your favorite team is not one of these 2 teams, you might as well just sit back and hope that this mongoose does not prove to be as ferocious as a real mongoose is!

IPL and its oomph!

It has just been a couple of days to the start of IPL 2010 and the excitement level is at its peak already. With three thrilling ecstatic action-packed games played, this year's IPL is back in India and its back with a BANG!

In the first match between last year's weakest team Kolkata Knightriders and last year's champions Deccan Chargers, who would have thought that KKR could win it all in the last over. But what happened was completely surprising and the first match went to SRK's team.

The hangover of this surprise was not even over, and we had another super-exciting game between the Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. This game had it all. When Mumbai reached a double-ton, nobody thought that the match could go to Rajasthan. but when Yousuf Pathan started firing, the game changed completely and Rajasthan looked completely unbeatable. But, there was yet another twist in the tale and just in the last over and another nail biting match, Mumbai Indians emerged winners, even though Yousuf Pathan ended up scoring a historic ton in just 37 balls.

And then came another jittery game between Kings XI Punjab and the Delhi Daredevils. Ravi Bopara was the only one who could hold on for a while batting at the pitch while the others just came and went. 142 looked like a very comfortable score for Delhi daredevils, who have an amazing batting line-up with Viru, Gauti, Dilshan and De Villiers. Yet, Delhi was facing the jitters with 3 wickets falling down in just no time. This again went on to be a last over game as Delhi struggled hard and managed to win with skipper Gautam Gambhir standing strong and scoring a 72.

And now, I'm looking forward to all the other games coming up. This IPL season has a great oomph to it. Its all happening out there, there is Ballistic Batting and Bowling, there are Fantastic Fours, there are Super Sixes, there is Frivolous Fielding there are Nervous Nerves, there are Exciting Edges, there are Glamorous Games, and that makes an Immensely Interesting IPL! looking forwards to even more action-packed games!

Chak De!

It is all happening in India as far as Sports is concerned. Some of the biggest World Sports are now taking place in the nation. But then, the one giving the world sports a kick-start is not getting the attention it deserves. Yes, it is the Hockey World Cup which starts just in a week's time, that's February 28 2010.

As Delhiites seem to be too busy preparing Delhi for Commonwealth Games, here is a reminder that before Commonwealth, we have this big event happening in Delhi. This is our chance to give the national game what it deserves. Lets get together and cheer our team and show the world that we Indians are game for any sporting event.

Phir Dil Do Hockey Ko!
Chak De!
