I'm a big cricket freak and thats because of the fact that I belong to cricket crazy family. Cricket is special, coz thats one major reason for my Mom and Dad meeting each other for the first time. So, this proves, how i completely LOVE cricket. So as this whole hearted cricket freak, when i heard the news of IPL, thats the Indian Premier League being shifted to South Africa, my first reactions included disappointment, anger and irritation over the nation's government. I'm sure all my fellow citizens had similar feelings.
But then i sat down patiently, i went through the news, i went through the facts and after a lot of observations, I realized that we cricket crazy people have just been blaming the government. We haven't really heard and analyzed the government's stance properly. Have we? If we go on to some Logical thinking, I don't think it is a bad decision. After all, what can be more imporant than the security of the players we all worship... what is more important than the givernment elections in a nation...
It might just sound boring to be this 'seriuos patriotic' citizen, but then boring or not, the fact remains,,, Elections are the top priority at the moment. IPL can be enjoyed on television sets too... and it will anyways be back next year... y b worried?? Just be ready with your drinks and snacks and have fun watching IPL on that couch of yours! :)
